1. Who We Are
ItsWhisky is operated by Kaiah Digital Solutions, based in Barbados. We are the data controller for personal information collected through the Platform. Contact us at support@itswhisky.com.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, island of residence, phone number, business information, and payment details (processed securely by WiPay — we do not store card numbers). We also collect usage data such as orders, recipes, and invoices you create, and technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the Platform, process payments, send account and billing notifications, personalise your experience (e.g. local currency, relevant content), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Platform: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (hosting), WiPay (payment processing), and Resend (transactional email). All processors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, in accordance with the Barbados Data Protection Act 2019.
6. Your Rights
Under the Barbados Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, email support@itswhisky.com or use the Delete Account feature in your Settings.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, server-side authentication tokens, and Row Level Security on all database tables. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
